Elizabeth Watza is an Assistant General Counsel at Michigan State University where she practices litigation. Prior to joining the Office of the General Counsel, Elizabeth was an Assistant Attorney General in the State Operations Division of the Michigan Department of Attorney General where she primarily practiced civil defense litigation. Elizabeth was also an associate in private practice at TNMG Law with a focus on medical malpractice defense litigation. Elizabeth received her law degree cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University. While an undergraduate student at MSU, Elizabeth was a member of the women’s soccer team. She earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
