Shannon Torres is Associate General Counsel at Michigan State University where she focuses on policy and compliance with civil rights laws. She serves on the President’s Oversight Committee responsible for implementing actions agreed to in MSU’s agreements with several federal agencies. Prior to joining MSU, Shannon practiced law as a litigator at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York.
