Theresa Kelley is Senior Associate General Counsel at Michigan State University where she primarily advises on faculty employment law and policies matters. Ms. Kelley also is responsible for advising on a variety of state and federal regulations and university policies including research misconduct, Title IX, study abroad, environmental law, and youth programs. Prior to joining MSU in 2000, Ms. Kelley was in private law practice in Houston, Texas. She served as a law clerk for the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and received her law degree from the University of Houston in 1990 and her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1985.
