Zachary Behler is an Assistant General Counsel at Michigan State University where he practices in the areas of intellectual property law, technology transfer, and litigation. He serves as the primary contact for the MSU Technologies as well as University Licensing Programs. Prior to joining the Office of the General Counsel, Zachary was a shareholder in the Lansing office of Foster, Swift, Collins, & Smith, PC. He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2006 where he was admitted to the Order of the Coif. He received bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and International Relations from Michigan State University with high honors in 2003. He is a member of both Michigan and Wisconsin State Bar. He is also admitted to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office.
