The Office of the General Counsel provides legal advice and representation to the University through its President, Board of Trustees, and administration on a broad array of legal issues affecting a modern, public research institution. Our services include advice and counsel on all matters that have legal significance for the University, including contract review, advice regarding state and federal laws, and legal workshops and educational programs. The Office of the General Counsel represents the University in all litigation and supervises all outside legal services provided to the University, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
